Future Weather has incredible potential for use in a variety of community programs, because it addresses several relevant social issues. It is an empowering story of a pre-teen girl from a low-income family. It has an environmental message and commitment. And it speaks from the heart about difficult family issues.

We are in the process of developing a community outreach plan that will use topics from the finished film as a tool to create dialog and awareness among specific audiences in need. Some of these audiences may include middle school and junior high science students, academic and empowerment groups for girls, and teenage mothers.
