With Film Week and the 2nd installment of IFP’s narrative lab in September, Kristin and Jenny have been spending a lot of time at the beautifully updated Lincoln Center. In early October, Jenny returned to her favorite landmark in New York City for IFP’s innaugural Emerging Visions program, a day-long event is to introduce 25 selected filmmakers to a peer network and industry mentors for career advancement.

Jenny was paired with the wonderful and talented writer-director-producer Shari Springer Berman, who has been in the ring with such acting heavy-weights as Paul Giamatti, James Gandolfini, Diane Lane and Annette Benning.

On the fundraising front, we’re thrilled to announce that Future Weather won a grant from Women in Film and has been nominated for the Calvin Klein ‘Live the Dream' Grant. The winner will be revealed at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, a star-studded awards event whose 2011 honorees include Charlize Theron, David Cronenberg and Gary Oldman.

We are thrilled to report we are locking picture in early November. We’ve started submitting to festivals and are excited to find out where our premiere will be, so stay tuned!
